Atis is an experienced hotelier with decades of operational and hotel leadership experience. Having started his career in banqueting he climbed up the career ladder becoming F&B manager, Director of Operations and eventually reaching General Manager’s position.

During his career in the hospitality industry Atis have been working in eight different countries and within recent years have been GM in Belarus, Armenia, Russia and now Ukraine. After years with Marriott International and Radisson Hotel Group, currently he leads the team of the Kharkiv Palace Hotel, 5* luxury hotel, proud winner of International Hospitality Awards 2019 in Best Mice Hotel and Best Business Hotel 5* nominations.

Atis describes himself as a hands-on leader with a continuous focus on improvement, efficiency, and creativity and strongly believes only fully engaged hotel team is able to deliver a wow service and experience for guests.
