James leads the highly respected hospitality and interior design studio at Jestico + Whiles with particular expertise in the design of hotels, as well as restaurants, clubs, specialist retail and cinemas. He has amassed over 20 years of experience in this sector working under appointment as either architect or interior designer and, very unusually for the sector, under combined appointments to provide a comprehensive service such as the remarkable W Edinburgh, currently in design. 
James is also leading teams on hotel projects both in the UK and internationally, including Malta, Marrakesh, Berlin, Amsterdam and Tbilisi, with the Aloft Hotel in Kyiv due to open in spring 2018.
